Summer Nights with the Chattanooga Lookouts
June 30, 2017
Summer has really just begun, but July 4th is just around the corner and our Calendar at the Chanticleer Inn is booking quickly. There is so much happening in the outdoorsy city of Chattanooga this summer, and there are plenty of ways to get outside and enjoy it while it lasts. Chattanooga is the adventure capital of Tennessee, and arguably one of the top outdoor destinations in the entire country–certainly in the South. It was, after all, named Outside Magazine’s “Best Town Ever” for a reason. Outdoor enthusiasts from all across the country descend upon Chattanooga for a variety of reasons. Whether it’s inviting waters, the rocky outcroppings, or the beautiful woodland forests, Chattanooga is just begging to be explored. When you’re looking for a little downtime between adventures, why not catch a summer baseball game? Book your room at the Chanticleer Inn Bed and Breakfast on Lookout Mountain, and come join us for a little summer baseball with the Chattanooga Lookouts!
Most of your day in Chattanooga should be spent exploring. Whether in the downtown core, or out in the abundant parks and trails that surround the city, that’s just part of what you do here. We can’t go on full-gas adventures all of the time, so when you’re looking for a little down time, we think a summer baseball game is just about the perfect way to relax. It is America’s favorite pastime for a reason! The Chattanooga Lookouts are a minor league baseball team, named after Chattanooga’s famous Lookout Mountain. Their home games are played at the AT&T Field, which is only 15 minutes from our Inn. The Lookouts are a Double-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, and their season extends into September.
Afterward, it’s time to sink into the luxurious accommodations at the Chanticleer Inn Bed and Breakfast, for the most restful night of sleep you’ll have away from home. Chattanooga is the place to be this summer. Book your room with us today!
