Flying Squirrel features fantastic Southern comfort food with an eclectic twist. The restaurant itself is a beautifully constructed, modern building with an industrial feel. Visit for brunch, lunch, or dinner and sample shareables like their carne asada tacos. We recommend tasting main dishes such as wood-grilled steak or a Korean BBQ beef burrito, and also be sure to explore their extensive wine list, fantastic craft beers, and craft cocktail menu.
Located at the base of Cloudland Canyon State Park near Lookout Mountain, you’ll find a local treasure called Canyon Grill. This quaint establishment offers an intimate dining experience complete with soft lights strung throughout the restaurant. From the fresh fish of the day to homemade pasta and savor steaks, you can’t go wrong with this menu.
Easy Bistro and Bar
A meal at Easy Bistro and Bar is a unique experience. This relaxed French restaurant is located inside of what used to be a Coca-Cola bottling plant, is open for dinner throughout the week, and brunch on Sundays. Enjoy “Easy Bistro Classics” such as their shrimp and grits or brisket with whipped potatoes. You also have to take a look at their creative cocktail list that features a selection of specialty drinks on draft and others that are ready to be prepared per your request! They even have some delicious non-alcoholic options as well.
St. John’s Restaurant
Experience fine dining at St. John’s Restaurant. One of their most popular menu items is their roasted pork belly, which comes with a dane’s biscuit, strawberry-rhubarb jam, roasted nut butter, and a quail egg. It’s a mouthwatering dish that will have you coming back for more over your trip. If you want to visit this wonderful restaurant, we recommend making a reservation in advance!
Alleia is the best place to go for rustic Italian cuisine. Dark decor paired with soft lighting provides a swanky, vintage feel as you enjoy your meal. Take a bite of traditional, Italian style pizza cooked in their handmade masonry oven. Sample housemade pasta of all kinds, nibble on antipasti like bruschetta with truffle honey, and complete your meal with traditional tiramisu. Of course, you can’t visit without ordering a silky smooth variety from their wine list!
