Summary: Tours commemorating the 147th Anniversary of the Battle of Chickamauga
Details:Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park invites the public to attend special programs commemorating the anniversary of the Battle of Chickamauga. The Chickamauga Battlefield Visitor Center will be open until 6 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and until 5 p.m. on Monday. A variety of activities, including evening programs, walks, talks, special children programs, tours and book signings will take place throughout the extended weekend.

The Chanticleer Inn Bed & breakfast  currently still has a couple rooms available for this weekend and have opened up a couple single nights too. The weather is great on the Mountain. We are located about 10 minutes from the battle field and 10 minutes from downtown Chattanooga and a mountain top away. Concert saxophonist Ashu, age 25, has continually defied conventions winning major international and national competitions traditionally won by pianists and violinists. He made his recital debut at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Hall in New York and, at age 16, made his concerto debut at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. Since then, concerto and recital performances have taken him throughout the USA and Europe. Hot Air Balloon FestivalThe 2010 Balloons and Tunes Festival will take place September 24-26 at the Rock Spring Industrial Park in Rock Spring, Georgia! The event will last three days and will include ten hot air balloons, three stages of wonderful entertainment, a kids zone, arts, crafts, delicious foods and so much more!
